A modern bathroom with plenty of room to spare

The clients at Parkland Circle came to me with a newly purchased home that was in need of some love. The Ridgecrest area home had lots of square footage and a backyard and casita to die for, but the primary suite bathroom didn't feel like a generous or updated space and had an awkward entry. The new family was looking for modern features, a clean design, and a space to relax in after a long workday. We worked with local architect Eric Spurlock to transform the original bathroom and closet area from a compartmentalized space with 3 small closets into a proper ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. The design was truly a his and hers space. One client wanted a deep tub, and the other wanted a walk-in shower. We created both for them and connected them through the tile choices and layout. The clients love the open feeling in the once-cramped bathroom and can get ready together with plenty of room to spare.
